Your identities, beliefs, choices, and lived experience matter.

Jennifer Racine, DPC, RTCc · Jubilee Cares Counselling
My role is not to rush you toward a tidy answer. It is to listen carefully, help you make sense of what is happening, and support choices that feel more like your own.
I work with individuals and parents navigating challenges big or small: difficult relationships, childhood experiences that still affect the present, grief and emotional numbness, recovery, parenting, anxiety, and major life changes.
You are welcome here across identities, values, beliefs, family structures, and life histories. I aim to create a space where you can be direct, uncertain, emotional, practical, quiet, or still figuring out what you need.
Counselling works best when you retain choice. We can notice patterns, explore what they mean, and try new ways of responding without treating you like a problem to solve.
Some sessions may focus on making sense of the past. Others may be about a conversation tomorrow, a boundary you are practising, or simply having somewhere to put what has felt too heavy to hold alone.
Jennifer holds a Diploma in Professional Counselling (2021) and a Diploma in Child and Youth Care (2015).
She is Jennifer Racine, DPC, RTCc; an ACCT member #3996. Her current designation is RTCc — Registered Therapeutic Counsellor-Candidate. She works with an approved supervisor while completing the required direct-client-contact, supervision, continuing-education, and experience requirements for full RTC status.

Jennifer brings more than a decade of related experience in the addiction recovery community, including leadership in a faith-based recovery program. She also has experience as a childcare provider supporting neurodivergent children and children experiencing trauma-related behavioural challenges.
She also brings lived experience of addiction, recovery, hurt, and rebuilding. As a mother and grandmother in a large neurodivergent family, she understands that change happens in real households and complicated lives—not under perfect circumstances. That experience informs how she listens without putting herself on a pedestal or pretending to be the expert on somebody else’s life.
