Addiction recovery and rebuilding counselling

Build a life that supports recovery—not just willpower

Practical, non-judgmental counselling for the work of staying steady, repairing trust, and building a life beyond survival.

Service overview

What this can look like in everyday life.

Recovery is rarely only about stopping. Ordinary life still has to be rebuilt: mornings, relationships, trust, money, parenting, loneliness, and the moments when an old way of coping suddenly looks tempting. Jennifer understands that the hard parts do not disappear just because you have decided to change.

Jubilee Cares does not provide detoxification, medical treatment, or emergency care. Counselling can be one part of a broader recovery plan.

This may fit if…

Some of this feels familiar.

  • You are thinking about change, newly in recovery, or rebuilding after years of it
  • A hard day, conflict, or loneliness can pull you toward old coping patterns
  • Shame tells you that you should be further along or able to handle this alone
  • You want counselling to work alongside the supports that already help

Sessions may explore

What Jennifer and you can work on together.

  • Understanding what triggers, cravings, or old patterns are responding to
  • Building a support plan that still works on a difficult day
  • Working through shame, setbacks, repair, and strained relationships
  • Creating routines and choices that make the next chapter more livable

Common questions

Useful details before you begin.

How do I know whether addiction recovery & rebuilding is the right starting point?

You do not need to be certain. Choose the page that feels closest to what is happening now. A free consultation gives you space to describe the situation, ask questions, and decide whether Jennifer's experience and approach fit your needs.

What happens in an online session?

You join from a private location in British Columbia. A 55-minute session follows the concern that feels most useful that day. You can slow down, ask questions, and adjust the focus or pace as the work develops.

How much does counselling cost?

A 15-minute consultation is free. Individual online counselling sessions are 55 minutes and $89 CAD. Payment is made by e-transfer after each session. Jennifer can provide an electronic receipt, and Jubilee Cares does not direct bill. Less than 24 hours’ notice and missed appointments may be charged the full fee, with circumstances considered case by case.
